DUNGOG WOOD CHOPPING COMPETITION
The rumble of the Chainsaws can be heard across the showground when our Post Splitting gets underway on the Saturday of the Show.
Located below the Animal Nursery you’ll find ladies, men’s and novice events on during the day. In the evening the Final of the Post Splitting is moved to the main ring for all to enjoy. That is followed by the fun and competitive Jack and Jill Post Split. 2022 saw the instatement of the Tom Sullivan Memorial Perpetual Trophy.
