The artistic community in Dungog is strong and many talented artists display their work at our Dowling Street gallery, which is a major tourist attraction in the town.

Dungog Arts Society has, for each year of the Dungog show, set up a gallery of our members’ works in the Girl Guides Hall at the showground.

Our art exhibition has been a very popular component of the show with a high visitor numbers, that has resulted in sales for our members.

Typically, we would also run a raffle, with the prize being a highly sort after example of a members artistic skills.

Our members are on hand to tend the exhibition during the opening hours of the show.

We believe that showcasing the district’s artistic talents supplements the traditional agriculture and produce for which Dungog is rightly famous.
